The story of Sole Encounters Foundation begins with Sole Encounters Adventures, a trekking and adventure company founded by Prem Bahadur Tamang, an experienced professional in Nepal’s tourism industry. While guiding travelers through the Himalayas, Prem saw not only the natural beauty of Nepal but also the challenges of rural communities where families often lack access to healthcare, education, and basic resources. Together with Prashant Nepal, he turned this awareness into action by establishing the Foundation.
